Giving Hope fundraisers are a wonderful way to support Cincinnati Children’s and help us change the outcome for kids. Here are some tricks-of-the-trade to keep in mind during your planning process:

 

    • Benefit concert/play: Showcase local talent and rock out for a reason!

    • Birthday fundraiser: Celebrate by collecting gifts that give back.

    • Company picnic/BBQ: Invite small donations - grill and give!

    • Dress-down day: Pay to dress casual (or creative) for a cause.

    • Engage your network: Use our tools to rally friends and family.

    • Fitness class: Partner with an instructor for a charity workout.

    • Gala: A night to dance, dine and donate!

    • Golf outing: Tee up a tournament and raise support.

    • Lemonade stand: When life gives you lemons, make a difference!

    • Pickleball: Organize a friendly community tournament.

    • Silent auction: Collect prizes and spark bidding excitement.

    • Walk/run/ride: Turn any race or challenge into a fundraiser.

    • Yard sale: Declutter for a cause!

  • We Can:

    • Help you set up an online fundraising page that you can customize and share with supporters.

    • Provide Giving Hope logos.

    • Acknowledge and provide tax receipts for donations made directly to Cincinnati Children’s.

    • Review and approve the use of the medical center’s name and Giving Hope logo, as appropriate.

    • Provide a letter of support on Cincinnati Children’s letterhead to validate authenticity of your event.

    • Plan a check presentation when you deliver your gift, as appropriate.

    We are Unable To:

    • Extend our tax exemption to your organization or event.

    • Provide event insurance or liability coverage.

    • Sign vendor contracts.

    • Provide official Cincinnati Children’s logo or collateral material.

    • Provide funding or reimbursement for your events.

    • Share any Cincinnati Children’s mailing lists.

    • Design or distribute marketing materials.

    • Guarantee staff attendance or media coverage.

  • Yes! We have an extensive list of designations listed, but can also work with you to support a more specific area.

  • We’ll provide you with a toolkit full of helpful resources so you can easily promote your event. While we can’t manage your event directly, share donor lists, or promote within the hospital, we’re here to support you with the tools you need for success.

  • Any Giving Hope logos provided in the toolkit can be used for your event.

  • If you’re fundraising using our online portal, all money raised comes directly to us!

    For physical donations, all proceeds must be payable to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and mailed to us within 60 days of your fundraiser. Please mail your donations to:
